J. Scott Nelson
Founder, President & CEO
Scott is the chief architect of Trax Technologies FPS system and has been developing transportation management systems for over 22 years. During this time, he has served in consulting, systems development management, and senior business management positions.   He possesses a unique background that blends development of technology with transportation and financial business experience.  During his career, he has served as the CIO for a third–party logistics company and as a Senior Partner for a transportation technology consulting and service company.   He founded File Express, an Electronic Commerce software development firm, and Trax Technologies, a freight payment services company.  He is nationally recognized as a pioneer in automated freight processing and distributed management information systems.

Alan Chute
Executive Vice President – Global Product Management
Alan’s professional background spans over 25 years and includes leadership roles in product design and management, solutions engineering, systems integration, and business process startup and deployment during his 15 years with Trax.  His previous experience includes dealership roles in financial and supply chain management at General Electric and Digital Equipment Corporation. He has specific experience in transportation process improvement and automation as the Manager of Freight Administration at Digital, and in developing and managing global financial reporting systems in Corporate Finance at Digital.  He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), an MBA, and a graduate of General Electric’s Financial Management Program (FMP).  Alan joined Trax in 1994.

Michael O’Rourke
Global Vice President – Sales and Marketing
Michael has over 30 years of experience working in sales and marketing roles on a global scale.  Prior to joining Trax, Michael has played a major role in the growth and global development of large corporations such as: Bristol Meyers, Brach’s Candy and other reputable ones as well.  Michael has a keen understanding of the Global Transportation Industry.  Michael has won several industry awards and is the newest member of Trax Technologies management team.

Trina Scott
Director of Global Finance
Trina has spent the past 15 years providing value and expertise in and throughout the financial industry. She comes to us with many years as an accounting professional.  Trina has served as a controller as well as serving in treasury functions handling relationships with investors and banks.  She most recently served as a VP at JPMorgan Chase in different roles; implementing, managing and developing strategies within the bank where she received numerous awards for having an instrumental role in the company’s success.  Trina is responsible in overseeing accounting, cash management, financial budgeting and internal audit at Trax Technologies.

Leonardo Acuna
Vice President – Global Operations
Leonardo joined Trax Tech in May 2006.  Prior to joining Trax, Leo spent eight years with Intel Corporation with responsibility for various semiconductor fabrication facilities, most recently as the factory manager for Intel’s Costa Rica manufacturing facility.  Prior to joining Intel he worked for 8 years in Sara Lee Corporation as Plant Manager. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from UACA and a MBA from National University.  

Bill Baird
Vice President – Product Development
Bill’s leadership in software development spans over 25 years, including work at Unisys Corporation and File Express. He has extensive experience designing and developing systems for supply chain automation. He is primarily responsible for the development of Trax Technologies proprietary rules engine and atomization technology which powers much of the company's software. Bill joined Trax in 1993

David Henderson         
Director of WW Logistics Consulting
David has over 22 years of experience in finance, international operational review, information technology and supply chain cost management. David is a qualified chartered accountant and has worked internationally for Price Waterhouse, The Coca–Cola Company, Compaq and Digital Equipment Corporation in a variety of roles covering operational review, finance, logistics and general management. He has vast experience in international business, having worked in Europe, South America, Africa and the USA. David joined Trax in 2000.

Dennis Legendre
Global Vice President – Account Management & Client Implementations
Dennis Legendre serves as Trax Technologies’ Global Vice President of Account Management & Customer Satisfaction.  Mr. Legendre has been with Trax since 1997 where he has held roles as; Regional Site Manager, Senior Rules Developer, Implementation Manager, Methodology Manager, and Senior Analysts.  Prior to joining Trax, Mr. Legendre spent 20 + years with Digital Equipment Corporation where he held various senior level positions with a Heavy concentration in transportation, distribution, warehousing and logistics, minor concentration in manufacturing/production control, finance and information technology.  Mr. Legendre is an industry expert and has a keen understanding of how to serve clients with a “White Glove Approach”.

Mark Van Dyke
Global Vice President – Development and IT / President and General Manager of Trax APAC
Mark Van Dyke serves as Trax Technologies’ Global Vice President of Development and IT as well as the President and General Manager of Trax APAC.  Prior to joining Trax in 2008, Mr. Van Dyke spent 30 years with Lexmark and IBM where he served in roles such as Global Manager Research & Development, Director of Software Development, Area Manager of Consumer Products, Manager of Asian Software Development World Wide Business, Product Manager of Laser Printer Software, Chief Architect, Software Engineer and Associate Hardware Engineer.  Mark brings senior level management on a global scale and has the expertise to help Trax in their continuous improvement strategy.  Mark is a graduate from the University of Tennessee where he holds a BS in Electrical Engineering.

Sherry Jarwin
Global Director – Implementations & Customer Management
Sherrys experience in corporate tax preparation, as well as her 9+ years of management experience at Apple, make her uniquely qualified as an industry expert in the area of freight payment. Prior to joining Trax she held positions of Global Supply Manager for logistics procurement and global management for Business Process Re–engineering projects. Both of these positions allowed her to create cutting edge and world class supply chain processes and procedures. Earlier in her career she managed corporate tax preparation activities as an independent business owner. Sherry studied supply chain management at Sac State University.
