Speed

Support for Multiple Currencies
TraxFPS not only supports multiple currencies but has the ability to store and convert currencies for each business transaction into a normalized currency for billing, rating, reporting, and paying independently from each other. Transaction line items can be billed in one currency, rated in another, cost allocated in a third currency, paid in a fourth, and reported on in a standard currency normalized for all transactions.
Data Import/Export
Able to import any type of data (EDI, ASCII, ASN, Database, CCS/SS, PO, Image File, Paper, BOL, SSM, etc.), via any transmission method (e-mail, HTTP, FTP, VAN, SOAP, U.S Mail, Proprietary, etc.) and quickly export metrics, queries, reports, order lifecycle management, shipment tracking, historical data, and cost control.

System is easy to configure to handle customer-specific processes and needs.
Access to Information
It is easy to access and view the state and history of any freight bill.
Data Drill Down and Synchronization
It is easy to start with summary data and drill down to the details or access related information. Once you have drilled down or accessed related information, windows stay synchronized when you navigate from bill to bill.
Integration With Customer Documents
TraxFPS can display and link customer documents such as BOLs, Purchase Orders, and Sales Orders with the freight bills that relate to them.

The File Express Rules Engine technology enables us to automate business processes that have traditionally been impossible to automate.

Mutli-line Cost Allocation
The system can cost allocate a single transaction or line item on a transaction to any number of cost centers or general ledger accounts. This can be done separately for different points of view, marketing, finance, logistics, etc.
Re-rating and uplifting
TraxFPS can calculate a different change for accounting or customer billing than the charge used to validate the payment to the carrier. These charges can be based on an added amount, percentage, or an entirely separate tariff that has no relation to the tariff used by the carrier.
Location and Entity Matching
The system has extremely sophisticated and flexible location and entity matching abilities. This includes the ability to recognize multiple physical location descriptions as one location and the ability to recognize multiple entities (divisions, departments, customer, vendors) at a single physical location.
Supports Any Rate Structure
Rates do not have to be coerced into our idea of a rating structure—they can be stored in the structure used by the carrier/customer greatly reducing rate loading, validation, and maintenance.
Duplicate Checking
The duplicate checking done by TraxFPS is very sophisticated and is a lot more than SCAC and pro number. The rules for duplicate checking are based on experience with the carrier and the type of transportation. These rules can identify true duplicates, re-bills, correction bills, balance dues, and supplemental invoices.
Rating
TraxFPS can rate anything: freight charges, accessorials, taxes and anything else you can think of. Not only can we rate anything, we can convert and mix currencies while we are doing it.
Audit Controls
No one has anything remotely equivalent. Everything can and is audited including the system itself. Since people do not make most of the decisions, every action and the reason for the action is recorded. When an error is found, the system can tell you every other transaction where the same mistake was made, the effect the mistake had, and can calculate what the results should have been so that corrective action can be taken.
All Source Data is Maintained and Available
No data is ever discarded—everything is stored, down to the source EDI or data entry. Everything is captured and recorded and nothing is overwritten, only augmented and interpreted. Since nothing is overwritten or discarded, the source information used to make every decision is available for review and audit. Try that with paper!
Even Paper is Converted to EDI
NO decisions are made on any document prior to entry into the system. Nothing is coded, summarized, synthesized or altered in any way. Paper documents are seen as another source of EDI. This greatly speeds conversion to EDI, gives us an audit trail on all interpretations, summarizations and categorizations made by the system, and allows us to use low cost world class data entry outsource partners to convert high volume paper into EDI.
Supports Any Reference Data Structure
Reference data is stored in the structure used by the customers systems greatly reducing loading, validation, and maintenance costs/efforts.
Logging
The "who, where, what and why" is logged for all decisions made in the processing of the freight bill.
Integrated Testing Environment
The system has an integrated testing environment that allows parallel or comparative testing on production data to validate logic changes before placing them into production.
Units of Measure
All units of measure are qualified and TraxFPS can convert between English and metric units of measure for rating, reporting, etc.
Idempotent
All processes can be rerun at any time and unless reference data or rules have changed, the results will be the same. This provides the safe rapid introduction of logic changes in a recursive prototyping environment.
Integrated Backup and State Change Journal
Backup and recovery of all state changes are automatic and integrated into the system.
Reference Data can be an Expression
Just like MS Excel spreadsheets can contain values or expressions that result in values, any reference data field contained in TraxFPS can contain an expression. This greatly simplifies the user interfaces and data structures thus reducing maintenance cost without sacrificing flexibility. The syntax is based on MS VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) so anyone with experience using MS Excel can write these expressions.
Rapid Development Environment
Processing rules can be made, tested, and evaluated recessively within minutes until the desired results are achieved. They can then be placed into an integrated parallel test environment and then into production within hours or days.
Open Architecture
There are no black boxes—all logic, systems and data are open to customer inspection or modification and nothing is hidden from the customer's view.
