Trax's Laura Hay Nominated for Everywoman in Transport & Logistics Award
Dallas, May 13, 2025 - Trax Technologies, the global leader in Transportation Spend & Compliance Management solutions, is proud to announce that Laura Hay, Senior Director of Global Program Management, has been named a finalist for the 2025 Everywoman in Transport & Logistics Award. This recognition celebrates Laura’s exceptional leadership and customer impact in a sector where women still represent just 21% of the workforce.
Now in its 18th year, the Everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards celebrate women driving innovation, performance, and progress across the supply chain sector, an industry that employs over 1.5 million people and contributed £214 billion to the UK economy in 2020.
Laura is a finalist in the Customer/Passenger Award - Leader category, sponsored by PepsiCo, which honors individuals whose commitment to customer service has delivered tangible business value. Over the past decade at Trax, Laura has led global programs for some of the world’s most complex transportation networks, ensuring customers have the insights and support they need to navigate change, improve performance, and achieve operational excellence.
My biggest professional achievement to date has been the fact that I get the opportunity not just to impact my own organization, but to really make some impact on the customers that I work with and across their organizations,” said Laura. “That kind of difference is what I’m proud of.
In addition to her operational leadership, Laura continues to advocate for greater inclusion and equity in the industry. “In the last decade I’ve been at Trax, I’ve really seen a huge shift,” she said. “We’re now seeing women taking control of teams, taking control of procurement roles, and really having a say in the decision-making process. But what I think is more wonderful is to see the change in some of the men that I’ve actually been working with… they really want to help push initiatives that impact me and other women in the industry forward.”
When asked what advice she’d offer to women starting their careers in logistics, Laura is clear: “Believe that perspective is your power. This industry absolutely needs diverse voices to drive real change. Speak up, stay curious, and know that you belong in every room where decisions are made.”
Laura embodies what it means to put the customer first,” said John Vallely, Chief Operating Officer at Trax Technologies. “Her dedication to service, innovation, and execution has helped our clients unlock enormous value across their transportation networks.
The winners of the 2025 Everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards will be announced on June 26, 2025, at Grosvenor House in London.
We couldn’t be prouder of Laura’s well-earned recognition and we’ll be cheering her on in the final round.
