A high-end retailer experienced challenges with third-party parcel delivery companies during the holiday season. With a record number of orders, the capacity of parcel integrators became a bottleneck. Many customers were negatively impacted by the long delays at the worst possible time.
The retailer set out to resolve the problem by working closely with the parcel companies and Trax to gain early visibility to delivery performance during peak holiday shipping activity.
Hamp brings extensive global leadership experience, deep domain expertise in enterprise spend management, and a proven track record of driving transformative growth. Hamp is a three-time CEO in the enterprise spend management industry, serving most recently as CEO of Proactis (LON:PHD), a publicly-traded provider of spend management and B2B eCommerce solutions to over 1,000 customers in over 100 countries. Prior to Proactis, he served as CEO of Perfect Commerce, where he led the consolidation of eight international acquisitions into a single operation and successfully orchestrated a sale of the business to Proactis.
Hamp is a graduate of Wake Forest University with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts.
Joining Trax in May 2020, Josh brings over twelve years of experience driving growth for global enterprise expense management organizations. For the past six years, Josh served as VP of Global Sales & Marketing for the Expense Management division of Cass Information Systems. Prior to that, Josh led the growth of Veramark Technologies, completing three strategic acquisitions and establishing a new brand, Calero Software. Over the last decade, Josh has led the creation of expense management programs representing over $10 billion of annual enterprise spend for the largest companies in the world. He has a true passion for customer care and looks forward to working closely with our customers to define the future of global Transportation Spend Management.
Josh is a graduate of SUNY Brockport with B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics. Josh lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife, three teenagers, and two dogs.
Liz brings more than 25 years of experience in financial management, strategic investment and M&A activity, with particular focus on technology and Internet companies. Her experience spans a wide range of industries and includes retail, media and entertainment, online advertising, software and professional services from start-up to multi-billion dollar businesses.
Prior to Trax, Liz has held leadership positions at companies such as Korn Ferry, General Motors and Deloitte. She is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies from Robert Gordon University.
Daman Wood brings 25 years of leadership experience building disruptive and world class brands in software and technology based solutions. His experience and leadership have been focused on developing and delivering technology-driven business services and solutions, providing an outstanding customer experience, and driving profitable revenue growth on a global scale.
Prior to joining Trax, Daman was COO of MDSL, a global leader in Technology Expense Management software and service leading the organization through a successful merger in 2017 and combined company growth that exceeded 25% year over year. While at MDSL, he was recognized for improving customer deployment, delivery, and support resulting in a successful sale of the company in late 2019 to Oak Hill Capital Partners. Daman has also held senior leadership roles at Vonage, Telesphere, Airband, Sparkplug and XO Communications in addition to previously serving as a board member of the Arizona Technology Council.
Daman has a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University, W.P. Carey.
George is a seasoned 30-year technology leader with a track record of delivering world-class products in the SaaS, private equity space. After an early career in professional services with EY and CSC, George became a VP of Engineering for Trintech, Kinnser, and Veriforce. Trintech launched publicly on the NASDAQ. Kinnser was acquired by WellSky and Veriforce was acquired by private equity. In all instances, George’s technology and product management leadership helped to drive value by building highly-regarded products in competitive technology ecosystems. George serves Trax with responsibilities over Product Management, DevOps, Engineering, and QA.
George is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Petroleum Engineering.
Chris Cassidy brings 22 years of strategic and innovative leadership expertise as a trusted supply chain executive in SaaS technology and global logistics across various industries. Most recently, Chris served as a Leadership Partner with Gartner where he advised Enterprise Supply Chain Leaders on their strategies. Prior to that, Chris led as the Executive Vice President, Global Healthcare Logistics Strategy for UPS leading to the creation of the UPS Healthcare offering. Additionally, Chris served as Head of Global Logistics at GlaxoSmithKline. Throughout Chris’s extensive career in technology and supply chain management, he has demonstrated successes in Operations, IT, Procurement, Strategy, Digital Transformation, and Sales & Marketing for many of the world's respected Fortune 500 enterprises.
Chris is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He has lived in the UK and worked across the globe and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and three children.
With a long history of supply chain automation and transportation logistics experience, Mr. Beda works closely with the sales and marketing organization to ensure new and existing customers take full advantage of the Total TSM/TSI Spend Intelligence services offered by Trax. Additionally, Mr. Beda manages the Advisory practice at Trax. While with Trax, Mr. Beda has been instrumental in assisting clients with improving their spend management programs for both inbound and outbound supply chains. By successfully completing many parcel and non-parcel contract optimization projects, Mr. Beda has assisted shippers in aligning contracts with changing shipping dynamics, especially in the area of business to consumer last-mile delivery. Mr. Beda has been recognized as one of the “Pros to Know” by the Supply & Demand Chain Executive editorial committee for two years running and is a regular speaker at the Parcel Forum.
