Chief Executive Officer
Don joined Trax early in 2016, bringing a unique expertise on the intersection of business, media, big data, and innovation. As CEO, Don guides the company’s strategic direction, as well as the execution of its short- and long-term goals.
Previously, Don co-founded and led Bloomberg Government, a data-enabled SaaS business unit of Bloomberg LP that empowers government affairs and government contracting professionals to make strategic business decisions through insights derived from proprietary data and analytical workflow tools. Prior to Bloomberg, Don was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where his primary focus was growth strategy and operations. He also served on the leadership teams of two Washington, D.C. start-ups. Don holds an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Chief Administrative Officer
With a broad background in all aspects of Human Resources—including legal, global, and recruiting perspectives—Elizabeth came to Trax in 2016, where she now leads all people and facilities functions. Her primary role is to develop the teams, policies, programs, services and systems necessary to meet the company’s worldwide human resources and facilities requirements.
Prior to joining Trax, Elizabeth spent five years at Bloomberg LP in a variety of roles, including recruiting and HR Business Partnership in New York, Hong Kong, and Washington, DC. Elizabeth was most recently the Chief of Staff at Bloomberg Government (BGOV) and member of the BGOV leadership team. She started her career at Robert Half International as a recruiter and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary Washington.
Chief Operating Officer
With extensive experience helping global organizations develop and execute winning strategies, Ben joined the Trax executive team in 2016. His role centers on designing, optimizing, managing, and scaling the company’s overall operations as it continues a path of global growth.
Prior to Trax, Ben worked at PayPal, Americas, where he oversaw the company’s operational rigor across multiple global functions as Head of Business Risk. He also served as the Head of Operations Risk at PayPal Credit, where he implemented efficiency improvements and risk mitigation strategies. Morens has also held strategy & operations roles at Deloitte Consulting, and he was a senior operations leader for the US Army Special Forces. Morens holds an MS in Management from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a BS in Technical Communications from the Mercer University School of Engineering.
Chief Revenue Officer
Chris is an accomplished senior sales and marketing executive with more than 20 years’ experience in driving and executing global sales & marketing initiatives, growing strategic partnerships, and propelling organizational revenue. In his role as Chief Revenue Officer for Trax, Chris is tasked with setting and executing the company’s go-to-market strategy in order to scale the organization and solidify its position as the global market leader for supply chain data management.
Before joining Trax in 2017, Chris served as VP of Worldwide Channel Partners and Alliances at Equinix, a publicly traded datacenter company. Prior to Equinix, Chris was SVP Sales & Marketing at ViaWest, as well as the Vice President of Worldwide Partner Sales at Rackspace Hosting. Chris also spent 9 years at Extreme Networks, where he started his career, and, eventually, led their North American channel and worldwide strategic alliance teams. Chris has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science.
Vice President of Engineering
Matt has close to 20 years’ experience as an energetic technology leader, with specific expertise in combining innovative product development with scalable business transformation. He joined Trax in 2017 as Vice President of Engineering, where he oversees the creation and ongoing evolution of Trax applications.
Before working at Trax, Matt spent more than a decade with CA Technologies, where he honed his skills in user-centric design, Agile transformation, strategic planning, and global routes-to-market. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Product and Engineering. He holds a BS in Computer Engineering as well as an MBA in Management of Technology from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Robert L. Morse is CEO and Co-Founder of Strattam Capital, a private equity firm focused on established, high-potential business technology companies. Founded in 2013, Strattam has offices in Austin and San Francisco. Previously, Mr. Morse was a Partner at Oak Hill Capital Partners, and has also worked at Loudcloud, an internet infrastructure pioneer, GCC Investments, and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Morse holds an MBA from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a BSE, summa cum laude, from Princeton University. He currently serves on the Board of Doxim Holdings, Trax Technologies, Blacksmith Applications and Contegix, as well as the Advisory Board of the HMTF Center for Private Equity Finance at the University of Texas in Austin.
Alisher Ashurov (Ali) is a Managing Partner of Abbey Road Capital LLC, a private investment firm focused on B2B services, payments and financial services companies. Prior to founding Abbey Road Capital, Ali was a member of the Executive Team at FleetCor Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: FLT), a leading global provider of specialized payment products and services including fleet cards, food cards, corporate lodging discount cards and other specialized payment services. At FleetCor, Ali was responsible for leading the company’s global expansion, acquiring over 20 companies and managing and growing several of its business units. Ali holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and BBA with a concentration in Finance from Emory University.
Tom Tinsley recently retired as a Managing Director with General Atlantic LLC where he served from 1999-2016. Prior to that he served as the CEO of Baan Company, NV (a General Atlantic portfolio company) and prior to that was a Director at McKinsey & Company from 1978-1995.
Mr. Tinsley has served on numerous public, private and non-profit boards. Currently, he serves on the boards of TRAX and Contegix which are companies sponsored by Strattam Capital (where he also serves on the board). Additionally, he serves as Co-Chair of the DC Region for Teach for America and on the boards of Life Flight of Maine and the Island Institute of Maine.
Mr. Tinsley earned an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Politics and Theology from the University of Notre Dame.
William J. Pade is a Partner of Oak Hill Capital and an advisor to Strattam Capital Management. He is responsible for originating, structuring and managing investments in Oak Hill’s Services sector. Before joining Oak Hill, Bill served in various positions at McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm, for 26 years. In his most recent role with McKinsey, Bill served as a Director and Managing Partner of McKinsey’s Silicon Valley office, and before that he led McKinsey’s high technology practice in Europe. He currently serves on the board of directors of Pulsant Limited, Monsoon Commerce Inc., Intermedia, Inc. and is Chairman of the Board of NG Data. He was previously a director of Veritas Software Corporation and ViaWest, Inc. Bill holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and an MBA, with distinction, from the Harvard Business School.
Kyle Reesing is a Principal at Strattam Capital. He is responsible for deal sourcing, new investment activity and portfolio company operational oversight. He serves on the Board of Doxim Holdings and Trax Technologies. Mr. Reesing joined Strattam in 2014.
Prior to joining Strattam, Mr. Reesing was an Associate Intern at Vista Equity Partners where he led multiple product profitability initiatives with the product management team at Accruent, a Vista portfolio company. Prior to Vista, he was an Associate at Gefinor Capital, a private equity firm focused on investing in middle market technology companies, where he was responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, and execution.
Mr. Reesing earned his MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas – Austin and earned his B.S. with distinction from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, where he played varsity baseball.
