Women in Supply Chain: The Changing Diversity Landscape

Watch our Women in Supply Chain Webinar on-demand!

About the Webinar

Trax has reached out to several partners to highlight the incredible work women have done worldwide in supply chain, show how the landscape has changed in recent years, give insights to new professionals looking to start and/or grow their careers and what benefits you can expect to see when you welcome diversity and invest in inclusivity.

Being female in a male-dominated industry has been a long-time obstacle for women in the supply chain industry, but those numbers are starting to see change.

About 41% of full-time employees in a supply chain role are female, up from 39% in 2020, finds a recent survey by Gartner and Achieving Women's Excellence in Supply Chain Operations, Management & Education (AWESOME), an organization focused on advancing women's supply chain leadership.

While these numbers might sound encouraging, there is clearly still a long way to go with only 15% of the most senior supply chain management roles being filled by women- meaning there is a 9 to 1 disproportion of men to women in executive Supply Chain Management roles.
